![]() Benefits & Savings of using VX-55
* Longer Fluid Life.
* Increased Tool Life.
* Prevents Clogging of Filters, Sprayers and Pipes by sludge and bio-film deposits.
* Improved productivity, reduced labour (fewer fluid change-outs, less downtime).
* Consistently manufactured quality products.
* Reduced costs (reduced purchase and waste disposal costs).
* Cleaner, Safer and more Environmentally Sound Working Environment.
Safe & Non-Foaming
Compatible with all water soluble cutting and cooling fluids.
Effective over a wide pH range. Non-hazardous in use.
Water soluble, non-foaming, biodegradable, effective at low concentrations.
Good high temperature stability.
Problem
Control of bio-film in metalworking fluids can be difficult. This bio-film becomes a safe haven
for viable micro-organisms to act as a continuous source of contamination to the system causing
slime and sludge contamination to degrade the MFW.
Microbial Growth Causes an Unhealthy Atmosphere
The Metalworking Fluid to become rancid and produce a rotten-egg odour. This impacts fluid performance by
causing in-balance in the oil / water ratio. It breaks down the corrosion inhibitor content of the MWF and affects its
corrosion protection properties.
How VX-55 Works
VX-55 works by changing and sequestering the crystalline structure of the bio-film preventing it from forming.
Is highly effective at very low levels giving long lasting protection to your metalworking fluid at low cost.
Dosage Rates for VX-55
Highly concentrated. Maintenance dose 1:1,000. Shock dose 1:500.
How to Use
Simply add to water when making up solution this will prolong life of your diluted cutting / cooling oil fluid by up to
50% - 100%. Hence dramatically reducing disposal costs.
